Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed varied movements in the closing prices of its major listed companies. Notably, SK hynix saw a decline, closing at 266,000, down by 3,500. Meanwhile, KG Mobility experienced a slight increase, ending at 3,620, up by 15. LG Corp. also recorded an uptick in its price, closing at 79,400, up by 200.
According to Yonhap News Agency, a number of companies experienced declines in their closing prices, including POSCO FUTURE M, which decreased by 1,600 to close at 148,600, while Shinsegae dropped by 1,700 to finish at 176,400. Other significant declines were observed in LOTTE Fine Chem, down by 300 to 42,350, and SBHC, which fell by 550 to 33,400.
Conversely, several firms saw increases in their closing figures. Hyundai Steel rose by 850, closing at 37,600, and DB INSURANCE increased by 2,200 to finish at 134,200. DN AUTOMOTIVE also showed a significant rise, climbing by 1,500 to reach 31,100.
Additional notable changes included kakaopay, which surged by 6,300 to close at 65,100, and HDHMS, marking an increase of 12,300 to end at 197,500. On the other hand, companies like Yuhan and HYBE saw declines, with Yuhan down by 900 to 122,400 and HYBE decreasing by 5,500 to close at 256,500.
