Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index saw a range of price movements as trading closed, with several companies experiencing notable shifts in their stock prices. Among the companies listed, HD Hyundai Heavy Industries observed a decline, with a downtrend of 11,500. Meanwhile, GC Corp's shares fell by 3,900, and Samsung SDI Co., Ltd. saw a decrease of 7,000. Notably, SKC also experienced a significant drop, with its stock declining by 5,800.
According to Yonhap News Agency, LG Energy Solution and Hanmi Science faced declines of 3,500 and 450, respectively. Other companies such as Samsung Electronics Mech and Hanssem saw their stock prices decrease by 2,100 and 200. In contrast, GS E and C and KPIC recorded gains, with their stocks rising by 220 and 500, respectively. Additionally, companies like Hyundai Engineering and Construction and F and F saw increases of 250 and 400.
The report further highlighted that significant declines were observed for companies such as Hyosung Heavy and CJ, with their stocks dropping by 33,000 and 5,400, respectively. LS Electric faced a decrease of 12,600, while KorZinc experienced a drop of 10,000. Meanwhile, HD Hyundai MIPO recorded a decline of 3,900, alongside OCI Holdings, which saw a decrease of 1,600.
In terms of minor fluctuations, GS Retail and YoulchonChem observed decreases of 140 and 200, respectively. Samsung Heavy Industries and Hyundai M and F Insurance also faced declines of 300 and 200. On the other hand, S-Oil recorded a slight increase of 100, adding to the mixed results observed in the market.
