KOSPI 200 Experiences Mixed Movements with Significant Declines and Gains

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index reflected a range of movements in its latest closing, with several companies experiencing notable declines while others saw significant gains. Among the companies listed, COSMAX and LG H and H witnessed some of the largest drops, with COSMAX closing down by 5,500 to 208,500 and LG H and H dropping by 3,500 to 320,000.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Hanwha Ocean and Hyundai Rotem were among the companies that saw gains, with Hanwha Ocean increasing by 1,000 to 80,500 and Hyundai Rotem rising by 3,700 to 111,300. Other companies with positive movements included LIG Nex1, which climbed by 8,000 to close at 388,000, and SKCHEM, which went up by 4,000 to 53,700.

Conversely, several companies experienced declines. NAVER closed at 189,200, down by 2,000, and KEPCO KPS fell sharply by 3,350 to 39,950. Meanwhile, Kakao recorded a minor decrease of 300, ending at 37,650, and NCsoft saw a decrease of 3,000, closing at 155,500.

Further losses were observed in companies like KEPCO E and C, which decreased by 1,600 to 60,100, and LGELECTRONICS, which went down by 900 to 71,600. Companies such as Celltrion and Amorepacific also faced declines, with Celltrion dropping by 800 to 153,500 and Amorepacific decreasing by 2,200 to 121,300.

On the positive side, gains were recorded by KIH, which rose by 4,500 to 93,500, and JB Financial Group, which increased by 110 to 17,930. GS and HYUNDAIGLOVIS saw minor gains, with GS up by 50 to 39,350 and HYUNDAIGLOVIS up by 200 to 113,200.

Overall, the latest movements in the KOSPI 200 index demonstrate varied performance across different sectors, with some companies experiencing gains while others face declines.
