Seoul: The KOSPI 200 stocks on the Korea Stock Exchange closed with a mixture of gains and losses on Wednesday. Key stocks such as Korea Aerospace and AMOREPACIFIC experienced notable gains, while others like DOOSAN and LIG Nex1 saw significant declines.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Korea Aerospace saw a substantial rise with its stock price increasing by 14,800 KRW, closing at 115,000 KRW. AMOREPACIFIC also posted gains, closing at 123,800 KRW, up by 2,500 KRW. Among other gainers, COSMAX increased by 6,500 KRW to close at 222,500 KRW, and Netmarble rose by 4,500 KRW to end the day at 68,000 KRW. APR showed a positive trend with a rise of 4,000 KRW, closing at 217,000 KRW.
Meanwhile, the trading day witnessed notable declines in some stocks. DOOSAN experienced a significant drop, falling by 25,000 KRW to close at 614,000 KRW. LIG Nex1 also faced a decline, dropping 25,000 KRW to 517,000 KRW. Other stocks such as KIH and Samsung Biologics saw downturns, decreasing by 3,900 KRW and 16,000 KRW, respectively. Despite these fluctuations, some stocks like SLCORP and Kumho Tire remained unchanged, closing at 35,450 KRW and 4,920 KRW.
The overall market performance indicates varying investor sentiment and market dynamics, reflecting both optimism and caution among traders.
