Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index saw a range of movements as companies experienced fluctuations in their stock prices. Key players such as Meritz Financial and BNK Financial Group noted declines, with Meritz Financial closing at 122,300, down by 500, and BNK Financial Group at 11,610, down by 200.
According to Yonhap News Agency, companies like emart and HYBE witnessed gains. Emart's stock price increased by 2,100 to reach 77,300, while HYBE saw a significant rise of 9,500, closing at 262,500. Conversely, Samsung Biologics experienced a decrease, with its stock dropping by 9,000 to end at 1,159,000.
Other notable movements included KRAFTON, which saw an increase of 1,500 to close at 341,500, and HS Hyosung Advanced, which fell by 2,500 to 198,000. The closing price for HD Hyundai Electric decreased by 16,500, resulting in a final price of 339,500, while Hyundai TNC saw an increase of 8,000, reaching 231,500.
Noteworthy declines were also observed in companies such as HD Hyundai, which went down by 600 to 74,900, and BGF Retail, which fell by 2,600 to 102,100. ISU Speciality Chemical experienced an increase, closing at 62,500, up by 2,500.
