Seoul: The KOSPI 200 Index experienced a series of declines as several major companies closed with reduced stock prices. Among the notable decreases, Kangwonland saw a decline of 150 points, bringing its closing price to 17,590. NAVER, a significant player in the tech industry, decreased by 5,000 points, closing at 255,500, while Kakao ended the trading day at 58,000 after a decrease of 600 points.
According to Yonhap News Agency, NCsoft recorded a substantial drop of 8,500 points, closing at 202,000. HANATOUR SERVICE and COSMAX also saw reductions, with their prices falling by 450 and 2,600 points respectively. Financial services company KIWOOM decreased by 7,000 points, closing at 248,000, while Hanwha Ocean ended the day at 107,200 after a decline of 1,900 points. HD Hyundai Infracore and HANMISemi experienced reductions of 180 and 4,200 points, closing at 14,750 and 142,300, respectively.
Further, DWEC's stock dropped by 135 points to finish at 3,630, whereas KEPCO KPS saw a decrease of 450 points, closing at 49,850. LG H and H and LIG Nex1 faced declines of 2,000 and 11,500 points, closing at 281,500 and 433,500, respectively. HYUNDAI ROTEM also faced a significant decline of 5,500 points, ending at 201,500. Among the increases, KEPCO E and C rose by 800 points to close at 97,700, and ShinhanGroup ended at 73,100 after a 400-point increase.
The report also highlighted Misto Holdings and LGELECTRONICS, with slight increases of 50 and 300 points, closing at 38,100 and 84,200, respectively. Meanwhile, TKG Huchems and JB Financial Group saw their prices drop by 110 and 450 points, closing at 18,080 and 22,700. Celltrion, HYUNDAIDEPTST, and DAEWOONG PHARM also faced reductions, closing at 175,000, 80,300, and 135,400, respectively.
HANAFINANCIALGR and HYUNDAIGLOVIS ended the day with decreases of 1,100 and 2,900 points, closing at 86,100 and 164,800. KIH and Hanwha Life also saw declines, finishing at 154,100 and 3,100, respectively. AMOREPACIFIC and GS closed with reductions of 800 and 750 points, ending the day at 117,700 and 45,500. However, HanmiPharm rose by 3,500 points to close at 346,000, while KDHC increased by 1,700 points, ending at 88,200.
Among the financial groups, KBFinancialGroup saw a 300-point increase, closing at 114,000, while BNK Financial Group experienced a reduction of 180 points, ending at 14,360. Youngone Corp and CSWIND closed with declines of 800 and 700 points, respectively, with final prices of 60,900 and 44,000. SD Biosensor fell by 100 points to end at 9,580, while GKL increased by 470 points, closing at 16,910. Lastly, emart faced a decrease of 700 points, ending the trading day at 72,800.
