Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced a mixed trading session, with several major stocks recording both gains and losses. Investors observed fluctuations across various sectors, reflecting a dynamic market environment.
According to Yonhap News Agency, notable movements included KEPCO, which rose by 1,000 to close at 36,900, and Hyundai Elevator, which increased by 1,700 to 82,500. Meanwhile, Samsung Life saw an uptick of 1,800, ending at 157,600. Other gainers included HANMISemi, which climbed 2,800 to 96,000, and Hyundai Rotem, which increased by 2,500 to settle at 223,500.
On the downside, Samsung Securities dropped by 2,000, closing at 74,300, and SK saw a decline of 6,000, ending the session at 222,500. Kakao decreased by 3,100 to finish at 63,300, while NCsoft fell by 5,500 to 230,000. Samyang Food experienced a significant dip, decreasing by 34,000 to 1,508,000.
The session also recorded several stocks that remained unchanged, including Samsung C and T at 197,700, KT and G at 142,600, HD Hyundai Infracore at 16,040, and POSCO International at 48,750.
