Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed mixed movements in its recent trading session, with a number of stocks experiencing notable increases in their prices. Among the gainers, POSCO Holdings saw a rise of 4,000, closing at 284,000. DOOSAN also registered a significant increase, closing at 536,000, up by 2,000.
According to Yonhap News Agency, other companies experiencing upward movements included MiwonComcl, which surged by 6,400 to close at 151,800, and SKSQUARE, which increased by 5,500 to reach 149,400. Additionally, DL E and C witnessed a rise of 1,050, closing at 43,400, while HDHMS climbed by 2,000 to a closing price of 204,500.
On the other hand, some stocks faced declines. TaihanElecWire decreased by 130 to end at 15,160, and SeAH Steel Holdings fell by 400, closing at 177,600. Moreover, kakaopay experienced a decline of 500, settling at 51,500, while Hanssem dropped by 300 to 41,900. Kakao also saw a decrease, closing 400 lower at 58,500, and HANMISemi dipped by 1,000 to 82,600.
The session concluded with several stocks showing no change in their closing prices. Among them were SGBC at 62,000, HyundaiMtr at 221,500, SLCORP at 33,850, and Yuhan at 118,100. KIA CORP. also remained unchanged, closing at 107,000.
