Seoul: The latest KOSPI 200 closing prices indicate notable market activity, with LS Electric seeing a rise of 4,500 to reach 234,500, while KorZinc fell by 40,000 to 818,000. This fluctuation reflects a mixed performance among various companies listed under the KOSPI 200 index.
According to Yonhap News Agency, several other companies experienced changes in their stock prices. HD Hyundai Mipo climbed by 3,800 to 170,600, and LG Innotek saw an increase of 3,700, closing at 153,200. HMM also witnessed a rise, up 1,120 to 20,400, and Hyundai Elevator improved by 1,200 to 77,500.
Conversely, significant declines were recorded for companies like SamsungHvyInd, which dropped by 240 to 14,260, and LOTTE CHEMICAL Corp, which decreased by 1,800 to 63,300. KumhoPetrochem and Mobis also saw reductions in their stock prices, with declines of 900 and 4,000, respectively.
Other companies experiencing decreases include HANWHA AEROSPACE, which fell by 16,000 to 804,000, and KEPCO, which declined by 1,150 to 25,750. DWS and SKTelecom also reported downturns, dropping 1,100 and 600, respectively, in their stock prices.
In contrast, several companies posted positive performance. S-Oil went up by 100 to 52,500, SamsungSecu increased by 900 to 55,500, and KT rose by 200 to 51,000. Additionally, Samsung Life reported an upward movement of 400 to 86,200, and Doosan Enerbility climbed 850 to 29,650.
The market also saw minor adjustments in other companies, with KumhoTire rising by 10 to 4,875 and Hanon Systems up by 60 to 3,490. Meanwhile, PanOcean and CheilWorldwide recorded increases of 60 and 140, closing at 3,540 and 18,590, respectively.
