KOSPI 200 Market Movements Highlight Diverse Trends

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index showcased a range of fluctuations in the closing prices of its constituent companies. Notable changes included significant increases and decreases across various sectors, reflecting dynamic market conditions.

According to Yonhap News Agency, S-Oil's stock price rose by 700 to close at 62,900, while LG Innotek saw a rise of 3,300, ending at 156,200. LOTTE CHEMICAL Corp experienced an increase of 3,100, closing at 68,200. HMM and HYUNDAI WIA also reported gains, with their stock prices rising by 550 and 1,500, respectively. KumhoPetrochem and Mobis saw positive movement, with increases of 1,000 and 2,500, respectively.

Conversely, HANWHA AEROSPACE experienced a decline, with its stock price dropping by 2,000 to close at 817,000. S-1 and KEPCO also faced downward trends, with decreases of 300 and 50, respectively. SKTelecom's price fell by 300, while HankukCarbon saw a more considerable decline of 1,350.

Among other notable changes, Hanchem rose by 6,100 to reach 170,600, while SamsungSecu remained stable at 72,500. SK, however, faced a significant decline of 7,000, closing at 206,500. COWAY's stock price decreased by 2,800, ending at 99,100, and DONGSUH dropped by 200.

Additionally, companies like SamsungE and A, SAMSUNG C and T, and SAMSUNG CARD reported increases in their stock prices. In contrast, Korea Aerospace and KUMHOTIRE experienced declines. LG Uplus and Doosan Enerbility witnessed gains, while KT and G, and SAMSUNG LIFE saw their prices drop.
