KOSPI 200 Market Movements See Mixed Activity Across Key Stocks

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index showcased a blend of gains and declines among various companies as the market closed with notable fluctuations. Amid these movements, several stocks recorded significant changes while others saw minor adjustments in their prices.

According to Yonhap News Agency, NHIS rose by 30 points to close at 12,730, and LS experienced an increase of 1,200 points, ending at 100,100. HD Hyundai Heavy Industries saw a substantial rise, adding 19,000 points to settle at 294,500. GC Corp and GS E and C also posted gains of 400 and 150 points, closing at 118,000 and 15,700, respectively. On the downside, Samsung SDI Co., Ltd. dropped by 3,800 points to reach 176,300, while KPIC decreased by 300 points to finish at 81,700.

Further down the list, Ottogi fell by 4,500 points, ending at 392,000, and YoulchonChem decreased by 350 points to 22,250. LG Energy Solution also faced a decline, losing 5,000 points to close at 318,000. Conversely, Hyosung Heavy gained 9,000 points, reaching 402,500, and Hanmi Science rose by 1,750 points, closing at 26,750.

Additional movements included Hanssem's increase of 700 points to 38,350, while SamsungF and MIns decreased by 1,500 points to 343,000. HDKSOE rose by 5,700 points to 191,900, and LS Electric saw a gain of 2,000 points, closing at 154,900. On the other hand, KorZinc dropped by 7,000 points to 666,000, and Mobis fell by 12,000 points, ending at 236,500.

Among other changes, HD Hyundai Mipo increased by 7,400 points to 118,200, and Hanwha Aerospace experienced a significant rise of 56,000 points, closing at 698,000. In contrast, LG Innotek and Kumho Petrochem faced declines, dropping by 3,100 and 1,200 points, respectively.

The market's mixed results highlight the dynamic nature of the KOSPI 200, reflecting a range of factors influencing stock performance across various sectors.
