Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index witnessed a day of mixed performances with significant movements in several stocks. While some companies experienced notable gains, others faced declines, reflecting a varied trading session.
According to Yonhap News Agency, several stocks on the KOSPI 200 recorded price increases. Hanssem saw an increase of 1,000, reaching a closing price of 51,400. SKSQUARE rose by 1,700 to close at 79,800, while Nongshim’s stock climbed 2,500, ending at 343,000. GC Corp also experienced an uptick of 1,800, reaching 131,900, and Ottogi surged by 13,000 to close at 401,500. Samsung SDI CO., LTD. gained 500, closing at 259,500, and SK Innovation increased by 800, reaching 113,200. Additionally, KB Financial Group rose by 4,000, ending at 95,600, while HDKSOE climbed 4,800 to close at 204,000. Youngone Holdings and Samsung F and M Insurance also posted gains, increasing by 1,300 and 9,500, respectively.
Conversely, several stocks registered declines. F and F dropped by 700, closing at 50,500, and
Doosan Robotics decreased by 100 to end at 69,100. Hyosung’s stock fell by 900, finishing at 49,100, while SGBC declined by 1,200, closing at 65,300. LOTTE and MIRAE ASSET SEC saw minor decreases of 150 and 40, respectively. SamaAlum and GS E and C fell by 400 and 450, respectively, with KPIC experiencing a significant drop of 1,700, ending at 87,600. Other notable declines included Youngone Corp and CSWIND, which decreased by 1,100 and 1,250, respectively. HANALL BIOPHARMA and Youngpoong recorded declines of 1,100 and 15,000, respectively.
The trading session closed with a mix of stability and fluctuations, as evidenced by stocks such as kakaopay, SKC, SamsungElectMech, and SK hynix, which maintained their previous closing prices without any changes.
