Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed a blend of upward and downward movements, with several prominent companies experiencing significant changes in their stock prices. Among the gainers, Hyosung TNC showed a remarkable increase, closing at 207,000, up by 13,400. Similarly, HYOSUNG ADVANCED rose to 170,400, marking an increase of 1,600. HanmiPharm also saw a considerable rise, ending at 275,000, up by 2,500.According to Yonhap News Agency, other companies such as Samsung C and T and HYUNDAIGLOVIS experienced notable gains, with their stock prices rising by 2,500 and 1,100 respectively. KIA Corp. and Doosan also recorded significant increases, with KIA Corp. closing at 94,200, up by 1,300, and Doosan at 194,900, up by 1,900. Additional increases were observed in Meritz Financial, which rose by 900 to 102,900, and KakaoBank, which increased by 1,000 to reach 23,350.Conversely, several companies faced declines. HYBE experienced a significant drop, closing at 189,800, down by 5,400. HANJINKAL also reported a n otable decrease, ending at 76,900, down by 3,400. Youngone Corp and emart saw declines of 2,200 and 1,700, closing at 38,750 and 62,600 respectively. Other companies such as KT and G, Fila Holdings, and HITEJINRO also recorded decreases in their stock prices.The KOSPI 200 index continues to reflect the dynamic nature of the stock market, with various companies experiencing fluctuating fortunes in their stock valuations.
