KOSPI 200 Sees Broad Gains with KCC and HYBE Leading the Surge

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index closed with notable gains as several major companies saw their stock prices rise. Leading the upward trend were companies such as KCC and HYBE, both of which posted significant gains by the end of trading.

According to Yonhap News Agency, KCC's stock price rose by 7,500 to close at 375,000, while HYBE saw an increase of 8,000, bringing its closing price to 293,500. Other companies experiencing substantial gains included SK Square, which was up by 9,600 to 144,800, and HD Hyundai Heavy Industries, which increased by 3,500 to close at 486,500.

Additional notable performances included HDHMS, which saw an increase of 8,900 to reach a closing price of 197,600, and LS, which was up by 5,800, closing at 166,200. KIWOOM and LGCHEM also reported gains, with their prices rising by 5,800 and 5,000 respectively.

While most companies experienced growth, a few saw declines. SamyangFood's stock price fell by 7,000 to 1,431,000, and LG H and H decreased by 2,000 to 298,000. DWEC also reported a decline, with its stock price dropping by 70 to 4,300.

Overall, the KOSPI 200 index reflected a positive trading day, with many companies showing increased investor interest and resulting in higher stock prices across various sectors.
