SEOUL: The KOSPI 200 index showed significant fluctuations in closing prices, with a mix of gains and declines among the companies listed. Notable movements included DENTIUM, which increased by 3,200 to close at 71,600, and HANJINKAL, which saw a decrease of 400, ending at 83,200.According to Yonhap News Agency, other significant changes were observed in companies such as PIAM, which decreased by 760 to close at 18,660, and COSMAX, which increased by 1,900 to reach a closing price of 157,200. The financial sector also saw mixed results, with BNK Financial Group decreasing by 50 to end at 9,350, while DGB Financial Group rose by 20, closing at 8,200.HANKOOK TIRE and TECHNOLOGY experienced a notable increase of 2,750, closing at 39,400. Meanwhile, Nongshim saw a substantial decrease of 11,000, reaching a closing price of 373,500. In the energy sector, S-Oil increased by 1,100 to close at 59,900, whereas KEPCO saw a slight decrease of 50, ending at 23,050.Other companies such as SamsungSecu and LG Innotek experienced gains, closing at 46,850 and 176,000 respectively. In contrast, SK Innovation saw a decrease of 2,500, ending at 118,600, and KRAFTON dropped by 5,000, closing at 332,500.
