Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced a range of outcomes with various stocks witnessing both increases and declines in their closing prices.
According to Yonhap News Agency, several major companies saw significant changes by the market close.
KAL's stock rose by 300 to close at 23,900, while LG Corp. increased by 500, ending at 77,700. KG Mobility saw a slight uptick of 20, closing at 3,320. On the downside, POSCO FUTURE M dropped by 3,400 to 129,600, and LOTTE Fine Chem decreased by 550 to 45,450. Hyundai Steel, however, gained 950 to reach 36,950.
Shinsegae and Nongshim recorded gains, closing at 174,400 and 409,500, respectively. SGBC increased by 600, closing at 63,200, while LOTTE rose by 350 to 31,500. GCH Corp finished at 15,690, up by 120, and COSMOCHEM fell by 60 to 15,850. POSCO Holdings remained unchanged at 284,000.
HITEJINRO experienced a minor decrease of 10, ending at 19,230, while CJ LOGISTICS stayed stable at 83,500. Yuhan's stock fell by 400 to 119,500, whereas SLCORP saw a rise of 400, closing at 33,850. NCsoft increased by 500 to finish at 200,500.
LG H and H experienced a drop of 500, closing at 292,500, while KEPCO E and C rose by 200 to 92,600. HANATOUR SERVICE ended the day at 52,500, an increase of 500. COSMAX saw a decline of 1,000, finishing at 215,500, while Kakao rose by 300 to 59,900. KIWOOM surged by 18,000, closing at 249,000.
Hanwha Ocean improved by 700 to 110,700, while HD Hyundai Infracore declined by 100 to 15,460. KOREA AEROSPACE soared by 1,700, ending at 96,800. SAMSUNG SDS increased by 500 to 161,800, and KUMHOTIRE rose by 35 to 4,885. HANMISemi's stock jumped by 3,300 to 87,300.
KEPCO KPS maintained its position at 51,200, while DWEC dropped by 40 to 3,785. LGCHEM saw a significant decrease of 6,000, ending at 287,000. DB INSURANCE rose substantially by 5,900 to 145,500, and SamsungElec increased by 1,100, closing at 72,600. NHIS ended at 20,750, up by 550.
DongwonInd decreased by 400 to 46,900, while GC Corp gained 400, closing at 133,000. GS E and C saw a rise of 90, ending at 19,290. SAMSUNG SDI CO.,LTD. experienced a decline of 3,400, closing at 198,100.
