Seoul: The latest trading session of the KOSPI 200 index showed varied outcomes for different companies, with some experiencing notable gains and others facing declines. Key movements were observed in several prominent stocks.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Hyundai Rotem saw the most significant increase, with its stock price rising by 3,800 to reach 116,800. This was followed by LIG Nex1, which increased by 21,000 to a closing price of 311,500. In contrast, Doosan experienced the largest drop, with a decrease of 13,500, closing at 282,500.
Other companies that experienced a rise in their stock prices included KIH, which went up by 1,000 to 73,800, and GS, which increased by 450 to 37,550. On the downside, LGCHEM saw a decline of 2,000, settling at 215,500, while CJ Logistics decreased by 1,600 to close at 83,400.
Additional movements included Hanwha with an increase of 450, closing at 44,500, and KEPCO E and C, which dropped by 1,500 to finish at 62,900. The financial sector saw mixed results with KB Financial Group rising by 600 to 83,400, while Shinhan Group fell by 250 to 48,450.
