KOSPI 200 Sees Mixed Movement with Significant Declines in Key Stocks

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index exhibited a mixed performance as several major stocks experienced significant declines, while others managed to close on a positive note. Key players such as Samsung SDI Co.,Ltd. and Hanwha Aerospace saw notable downturns in their stock prices.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Samsung SDI Co.,Ltd. recorded a substantial drop, closing at 168,900, down by 5,500. Hanwha Aerospace also faced a significant decline, with its stock price falling by 46,000 to close at 811,000. Other major decliners included Mobis, which decreased by 10,000 to 253,000, and Kia Corp., which saw a reduction of 3,800 to finish at 89,400.

In contrast, some companies experienced gains. Notably, HDKSOE increased by 6,000, closing at 316,500, while SamsungF and MIns rose by 5,000 to reach 404,500. GS Retail and OTOKI also registered positive movements, with increases of 110 and 3,000, closing at 15,340 and 398,000, respectively.

Additional stocks showing upward trends included SBHC, which rose by 1,150 to 23,400, and SKBP, climbing by 1,400 to 93,000. Meanwhile, HtlShilla and F and F ended the trading session with gains of 1,600 and 1,000, respectively.

The session also highlighted stability in certain stocks, such as Daesang, which remained unchanged at 21,700. However, companies like YoulchonChem and Hyundai M and F INS experienced declines, closing at 28,850 and 24,350, down by 250 and 800, respectively.
