KOSPI 200 Sees Mixed Movements Amid Declines in Major Stocks

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index exhibited varied trends, with several prominent companies experiencing fluctuations in their stock prices. Among the notable changes, SK hynix saw a significant increase, while CJ experienced a substantial decline.

According to Yonhap News Agency, SK hynix showed a notable rise, closing at 361,000 won, up by 10,000 won. In contrast, CJ's stock dipped by 5,300 won to close at 197,200 won. Other companies such as Samsung F and M Insurance and Celltrion also experienced increases, with Samsung F and M Insurance rising by 1,000 won to reach 458,500 won, and Celltrion climbing 15,100 won to close at 184,200 won.

On the downside, Nongshim recorded a decrease, dropping 6,500 won to end at 455,500 won. Hanwha and KIH also faced declines, with Hanwha down by 1,700 won to 88,800 won, and KIH falling 4,000 won to 154,000 won. In the automotive sector, KIA Corporation showed positive movement, gaining 900 won to close at 102,800 won, while Hyundai Engineering and Construction experienced a decline, losing 800 won to settle at 55,500 won.

Additionally, Samsung SDS and POSCO FUTURE M posted gains, with Samsung SDS advancing by 2,700 won to 167,200 won, and POSCO FUTURE M increasing by 2,200 won to reach 143,600 won. Meanwhile, companies like LIG Nex1 and Nongshim faced losses, with LIG Nex1 dropping 2,500 won and Shinsegae falling by 1,400 won to close at 199,100 won.
