KOSPI 200 Sees Mixed Movements as Key Players Experience Gains and Losses

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index presented a mixed picture as it closed with significant movements in both upward and downward directions for some of its major listed companies. Notably, companies like DoubleUGames, HL MANDO, and Doosan Bobcat experienced upward trends, while others such as Samsung Biologics and KorZinc saw declines.

According to Yonhap News Agency, DoubleUGames rose by 1,100 to close at 51,700, and HL MANDO witnessed an increase of 850, ending the session at 44,850. Doosan Bobcat surged by 1,550 to reach 45,500. On the other hand, Samsung Biologics dropped by 14,000, closing at 1,001,000, and KorZinc experienced a significant decline of 71,000, settling at 759,000.

HD Hyundai and Krafton also reported gains, with HD Hyundai closing up 500 at 84,900, and Krafton increasing by 2,000 to end at 347,000. Conversely, L and F decreased by 5,300, finishing at 88,000, and Celltrion fell by 1,000, closing at 179,700.

Among other notable movements, DAEWOONG PHARM saw an increase of 4,500 to close at 131,300, while Netmarble dropped by 600, ending at 46,350. Hyundai Rotem and LIG Nex1 also recorded gains, with Hyundai Rotem up by 1,800 at 57,800 and LIG Nex1 rising by 8,000 to close at 217,000. Meanwhile, LG Corp. declined by 1,300, finishing at 72,800.

SK hynix showed a positive trend, increasing by 6,000 to close at 218,000, while Hanwha Vision saw a decrease of 4,050, ending at 34,050. Among the few companies with no change were LOTTE Fine Chem and Hyundai Steel, which closed at 40,850 and 22,400, respectively.
