Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index reflected mixed performances in its latest trading session, with several significant stocks experiencing notable gains and losses. Among the major movers, Samsung SDI Co., Ltd. saw its shares decline by 400 to close at 172,400, while KPIC enjoyed an increase of 2,700, closing at 83,900.
According to Yonhap News Agency, other notable gainers included GS Retail, which rose by 440 to reach 15,390, and OTOKI, which climbed by 8,500 to close at 399,500. YoulchonChem also experienced a rise, ending the session at 32,800, up by 1,200. HYOSUNG HEAVY saw a substantial increase of 11,000, closing at 648,000, and LG Energy Solution rose by 4,000 to finish at 288,500.
However, not all stocks followed the upward trend. HtlShilla’s shares decreased by 650, closing at 49,200. HANALL BIOPHARMA also saw a decline, dropping by 850 to end at 24,900. Other companies such as KEPCO and Hanchem experienced declines of 450 and 1,200, closing at 29,650 and 131,000, respectively.
Significant gains were recorded by SamsungF and MIns, which rose by 37,500 to close at 425,500. HDKSOE and HANWHA SOLUTIONS also performed well, with increases of 15,000 and 1,700, closing at 327,500 and 31,600, respectively. KorZinc saw a rise of 40,000, ending the session at 770,000.
Overall, the trading session reflected varied performances across the KOSPI 200 index, with some stocks showing strong upward movements while others faced declines.
