KOSPI 200 Sees Mixed Movements as Major Stocks Close Lower

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index closed with a mix of gains and losses, as several prominent companies recorded decreases in their stock prices. Notably, DoubleUGames closed at 50,500, marking a decline of 600, while HL MANDO saw a drop of 400 to close at 33,900. Samsung Biologics also experienced a decrease, closing at 1,004,000, down by 4,000.

According to Yonhap News Agency, among the companies that registered gains, Doosan Bobcat's stock rose by 500, ending the session at 43,500. Doosan itself saw a significant rise, closing at 249,000, up by 9,500. Krafton and HD Hyundai also recorded gains, with Krafton up by 4,500 to close at 366,500, and HD Hyundai rising by 1,200 to close at 68,800.

On the other end, several companies faced declines. Netmarble's stock fell by 1,050 to 38,500. YoungoneHoldings experienced a decrease of 1,500, closing at 85,400. KakaoBank and kakaopay also saw declines, closing at 20,550 and 27,750 respectively, down by 400 and 1,400.

Additional notable movements included SK hynix, which rose by 4,700 to 169,500, and Hanwha Systems, up by 2,150 to 32,300. Meanwhile, SK ie technology and BGF Retail closed lower at 20,150 and 107,300, down by 200 and 700 respectively.

The day ended with varied performances across sectors, reflecting the dynamic nature of the market.
