KOSPI 200 Sees Mixed Movements as POSCO Holdings and Samsung SDI Co., Ltd. Record Gains

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index exhibited mixed results in the latest trading session, with several key players experiencing varied changes in their stock prices. Notable movements included gains for POSCO Holdings and Samsung SDI Co., Ltd., while others such as LIG Nex1 and Hyundai Glovis saw declines.

According to Yonhap News Agency, POSCO Holdings emerged as one of the top gainers, with its stock price climbing by 9,500 to reach 272,500. Samsung SDI Co., Ltd. also recorded an increase, with its shares rising by 3,500 to a closing price of 210,500. Other companies that witnessed an upward trend included L and F, which increased by 2,700, and HanmiSemi, which was up by 8,900.

Conversely, LIG Nex1 experienced a significant drop in its stock price, decreasing by 15,000 to 465,000. Hyundai Glovis also saw a decline, with its shares down by 5,100, closing at 158,700. Other notable declines included Celltrion, which fell by 2,700, and KIH, which dropped by 3,400.

Meanwhile, several companies reported no change in their closing prices, such as KDHC and Misto Holdings. Among those with minor changes, GS and KB Financial Group saw reductions of 650 and 1,200 respectively, while companies like SK Innovation and Amorepacific experienced modest gains.

These fluctuations reflect the ongoing volatility and varied performance within the KOSPI 200 index, highlighting the dynamic nature of the market.
