KOSPI 200 Sees Mixed Movements with Notable Gains and Losses

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed a mixture of gains and losses as trading concluded, with several prominent companies experiencing significant fluctuations. Stocks such as SK Telecom, Hyundai Elev, and Korea Aerospace saw upward movements, while others like Samsung Securities and Lotte Shopping experienced declines.

According to Yonhap News Agency, SK Telecom closed at 57,900, marking an increase of 100, while Hyundai Elev surged by 800 to close at 69,400. Korea Aerospace experienced a notable rise of 2,400, reaching a closing price of 82,000. Similarly, Samsung SDS and Coway both saw substantial increases, ending at 116,200 and 77,900, respectively.

Conversely, Samsung Securities witnessed a decrease of 200, closing at 44,550, and Lotte Shopping fell by 400 to 62,400. Other companies such as Samsung C and T and Samsung Card also reported declines, closing at 113,800 and 40,150, respectively.

Additional movements included KEPCO decreasing by 100 to 24,100, while Hanwha Ocean and KT both recorded increases, closing at 77,900 and 49,050, respectively. Notably, LG H and H saw a substantial gain of 2,500, ending the session at 315,000.
