Seoul: The KOSPI 200 observed a range of movements as trading closed, highlighting significant shifts among various companies. Hyosung Heavy Industries and Otoki emerged as notable gainers, with their stock prices witnessing substantial increases.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Hyosung Heavy Industries' stock price surged by 35,500, closing at 520,000, while Otoki's shares climbed by 6,000, ending at 404,500. Other notable gainers included LG Energy Solution, which increased by 4,000 to 350,000, and LS ELECTRIC, which saw its stock rise by 15,600 to 203,000.
Conversely, several stocks experienced declines. Samsung SDI Co., Ltd. saw its stock fall by 600, closing at 183,600, and Hanwha Aerospace experienced a drop of 18,000, closing at 809,000. KPIC also faced a decrease with its stock price falling by 1,600 to 86,300.
The market witnessed a mix of upward and downward movements across different sectors. Companies such as Samsung Electronics Mechanical, which increased by 500 to 121,800, and Mobis, which rose by 5,500 to 256,500, contributed to the gains, while others like Hanchem and Samsung Heavy Industries faced declines, with their prices dropping by 600 to 116,900 and 180 to 14,970, respectively.
Overall, the trading session reflected a varied performance for companies listed in the KOSPI 200, with significant gains and losses shaping the market landscape.
