Seoul: The KOSPI 200 saw a mixed performance as several major companies experienced declines in their stock prices. Prominent names such as NAVER and Kakao saw their shares decrease significantly, with NAVER dropping by 5,000 to 262,500 and Kakao falling by 2,300 to 59,800. Additionally, NCsoft and KIWOOM also faced notable declines, with NCsoft down by 3,500 to 213,500 and KIWOOM decreasing by 10,000 to 240,500.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the day's trading session also saw some gains among companies. Doosan Enerbility's stock rose by 3,100 to 77,600, while POSCO INTERNATIONAL increased by 1,150 to 49,000. Hyundai Motor also saw an uptick, gaining 1,500 to reach 218,500. Other companies that experienced positive movements included LG Corp., which rose by 300 to 71,600, and LGELECTRONICS, which increased by 2,000 to 81,000.
Some companies faced smaller declines, such as LG Display, which decreased by 430 to 15,190, and Kangwonland, down by 240 to 17,560. Meanwhile, Hanwha Ocean saw a slight increase of 100 to 109,400, whereas KEPCO E and C rose by 600 to 90,200. The trading day ended with both gains and losses, reflecting the varied market conditions affecting different sectors within the KOSPI 200 index.
