Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced a range of fluctuations as several companies registered upward and downward movements in their stock prices. Notably, DOOSAN and SKC saw significant gains, while others, such as HD Hyundai Heavy Industries, faced declines.
According to Yonhap News Agency, DOOSAN saw a substantial increase, with its stock price rising by 13,000, closing at 289,000. SKC also experienced a notable gain, increasing by 9,400 to close at 154,600. On the other hand, HD Hyundai Heavy Industries faced a significant drop, with its price falling by 6,500, closing at 303,000.
Other companies also saw various changes. LS gained 8,200, reaching a closing price of 118,700. Nongshim and Yuhan experienced increases of 7,000 and 2,300, closing at 360,000 and 137,400, respectively. Meanwhile, HD Hyundai Mipo's stock dropped by 10,000, closing at 115,600.
In addition to these movements, LG Corp. saw an increase of 1,700, closing at 73,800, while Samsung Electronics rose by 1,100, ending at 54,000. Among the decliners, SeAH Steel Holdings and LOTTE Fine Chem saw decreases of 500 and 600, closing at 217,500 and 40,300, respectively.
