SEOUL: The KOSPI 200 index displayed mixed performance with several companies experiencing significant price changes. Notable movements included a substantial decline for NAVER and increases for companies such as NCsoft and LIG Nex1.According to Yonhap News Agency, NAVER saw a significant decrease in its closing price, dropping 10,000 points to 208,000. In contrast, NCsoft's stock rose by 4,000 to reach 204,500, while LIG Nex1 experienced a notable increase of 9,100, closing at 197,100. Other companies showing upward trends included LG Chem, which increased by 5,000 to 267,500, and HYUNDAIGLOVIS, which rose by 4,400 to 117,900.Several companies experienced declines, including Kakao, which fell by 900 to 43,700, and HD Hyundai Infracore, which decreased by 170 to 7,140. Among other declines, KG DONGBU STL dropped by 250 to 5,730, and Fila Holdings fell by 950 to 40,900.The market showed a range of upward movements as well, with HANMISemi increasing by 2,900 to 83,800 and GC Corp rising by 11,900 to 168,3 00. KEPCO KPS closed at 42,550, up by 350, while ShinhanGroup increased by 200 to 50,600.
