KOSPI 200 Sees Mixed Performance Amid Market Fluctuations

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 Index experienced a mix of gains and losses as trading closed, reflecting varied performances among major companies. Notably, LIG Nex1 and APR saw significant upticks, while companies like Samsung Biologics and Krafton posted declines.

According to Yonhap News Agency, LIG Nex1 led the gains with an increase of 36,000, closing at 372,500. APR also showed a significant rise, closing at 98,400 with an increase of 22,000. HD Hyundai Electric and Hanwha Vision followed with gains of 7,500 and 2,800, closing at 343,000 and 63,000, respectively. Meanwhile, SKCHEM and HS Hyosung Advanced posted gains of 3,050 and 3,700, closing at 42,900 and 188,200, respectively.

On the downside, Samsung Biologics saw a notable decrease of 5,000, closing at 1,036,000. Krafton experienced a decline of 6,500, ending the session at 379,000. kakaopay and DoubleUGames also suffered losses, falling 1,800 and 1,000 to close at 29,700 and 55,000, respectively. Additionally, BGF Retail and HD Hyundai both reported declines, with BGF Retail dropping 300 to 112,600 and HD Hyundai down 500 to 79,300.

Other companies like BNK Financial Group and iM Financial Group also posted losses, with BNK Financial Group closing at 10,350, down 100, and iM Financial Group at 10,390, down 40. Meanwhile, emart and DENTIUM managed to close with gains, rising 200 and 5,000 to end at 90,500 and 77,100, respectively.
