Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed a varied performance today with notable movements among major stocks. Companies such as Samsung Biologics, HD Hyundai Electric, and SK Square were among the top gainers, while others like Netmarble and Nongshim saw declines.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Samsung Biologics experienced a substantial increase, closing at 1,178,000, up by 16,000. HD Hyundai Electric also saw a significant rise, ending at 780,000, marking an increase of 34,000. SK Square reported an impressive gain as well, closing at 271,000, up by 18,000. Meanwhile, HD Hyundai recorded a strong performance, with shares rising by 6,100 to close at 181,600.

On the other hand, several companies faced declines. Meritz Financial closed at 113,700, down by 600, and Youngone Corp ended at 60,000, a decrease of 800. Notably, Nongshim experienced a sharp decline, closing at 429,000, down by 5,500, representing one of the day’s larger losses.

Other companies such as Doosan Bobcat and Krafton saw increases, closing at 62,300 and 287,000, respectively. Conversely, LG Corp. and Shinsegae ended the day on a lower note, closing at 80,200 and 178,200, respectively, each down by 600.

Overall, the KOSPI 200 index reflected a mixed day of trading, with significant gains in some sectors balanced by losses in others.
