Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced a mixed trading session on Thursday, with several stocks recording gains while others saw declines. Daewoong closed at 18,770 KRW, marking an increase of 140 KRW. LOTTE WELLFOOD also saw an uptick, closing at 115,400 KRW, up by 100 KRW. CheilWorldwide ended the day at 17,960 KRW, climbing by 50 KRW.
According to Yonhap News Agency, SK hynix faced a significant drop, closing at 194,600 KRW, down by 3,300 KRW. SamsungF and MIns also declined, finishing at 357,000 KRW, a decrease of 4,500 KRW. Meanwhile, HANALL BIOPHARMA and Kogas both saw gains, each rising by 650 KRW, closing at 27,350 KRW and 36,300 KRW, respectively.
HyundaiEng and Const reported an increase, reaching 35,900 KRW, up by 200 KRW. In contrast, Hanwha and LX INT experienced downturns, closing at 43,850 KRW and 25,100 KRW, respectively. SBHC remained unchanged at 17,090 KRW, while TaihanElecWire increased slightly by 50 KRW to 11,140 KRW.
Hyundai M and F INS decreased by 250 KRW, closing at 21,550 KRW. Daesang faced a larger drop, closing at 22,850 KRW, down by 1,150 KRW. SKNetworks recorded a slight decline, closing at 4,055 KRW, a decrease of 35 KRW. ORION Holdings concluded the session at 16,440 KRW, down by 80 KRW.
KCC saw a decrease of 9,500 KRW, closing at 255,500 KRW, while SKBP experienced a notable rise, ending at 104,900 KRW, up by 5,200 KRW. TCC STEEL fell by 600 KRW to 20,400 KRW, and LotteChilsung gained 300 KRW, closing at 106,300 KRW.
AmoreG closed at 20,500 KRW, down by 350 KRW. HyundaiMtr decreased by 2,500 KRW, closing at 193,800 KRW. MiwonComcl fell by 500 KRW to 182,900 KRW, and SamyangFood experienced a significant drop, closing at 843,000 KRW, down by 17,000 KRW.
POSCO INTERNATIONAL increased by 900 KRW, closing at 48,700 KRW. CJ CheilJedang saw a decline, closing at 236,500 KRW, down by 6,000 KRW. TaekwangInd also decreased, ending at 655,000 KRW, down by 12,000 KRW.
KAL closed at 21,050 KRW, down by 550 KRW, while LG Corp. decreased by 700 KRW, closing at 62,300 KRW. KG Mobility gained 45 KRW, ending at 3,720 KRW, and POSCO FUTURE M saw an increase of 1,000 KRW, closing at 115,500 KRW.
LOTTE Fine Chem fell by 950 KRW, closing at 35,050 KRW, while HYUNDAI STEEL increased by 200 KRW, closing at 24,300 KRW. Shinsegae recorded a decline, closing at 135,400 KRW, down by 1,500 KRW.
CosmoAM and T decreased by 400 KRW, closing at 36,750 KRW. Nongshim experienced a rise, closing at 406,000 KRW, up by 500 KRW. SGBC fell by 1,000 KRW, closing at 66,900 KRW, while HANILCMT decreased slightly, ending at 15,670 KRW.
SeAH Steel Holdings concluded the session at 228,000 KRW, down by 1,500 KRW. BNK Financial Group fell by 450 KRW, closing at 9,860 KRW.
