Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced a day of mixed performance as several prominent stocks recorded both gains and losses. KT saw an increase, closing at 51,700, up by 400. Meanwhile, LG Uplus decreased by 250, ending at 14,910.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Samsung Life improved by 700, closing at 160,600, while KT and G surged by 2,900 to finish at 136,600. On the other hand, Doosan Enerbility fell by 2,200, reaching 58,800. LG Display showed a slight decline of 50, ending at 12,050, and Kakao dropped by 1,500, closing at 64,000.
NAVER’s stock decreased by 2,000, ending at 234,000. Conversely, HITEJINRO saw a marginal increase, closing at 19,480, up by 30. CJ Logistics experienced a significant rise, closing at 86,500, up by 2,800. S-1 dropped by 200, ending at 80,300, while Hanchem increased by 5,500, closing at 191,900.
Other notable movements included SamsungSecu’s rise of 1,500, closing at 75,500, and NCsoft’s substantial gain of 7,000, ending at 227,000. KIWOOM made a remarkable jump, closing at 267,500, up by 18,000. In contrast, Hanwha Ocean saw a decrease of 3,700, ending at 109,500, and KEPCO’s slight decline of 100, closing at 36,800.
The trading day also saw HDC Holdings rise by 400, closing at 21,750, and LGChem increase by 3,500, ending at 293,500. ShinhanGroup improved by 600, closing at 69,900, while KEPCO E and C fell by 2,200, ending at 87,500. Hyundai Rotem remained unchanged at 215,000, while LIG Nex1 experienced a significant drop of 9,000, closing at 495,000.
