Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index showcased a varied performance, with several companies experiencing significant movements in their closing prices. Among the notable changes, LG Energy Solution, Ottogi, and Mobis recorded substantial gains, while KorZinc and Hanwha Aerospace faced notable declines.
According to Yonhap News Agency, LG Energy Solution saw a rise of 5,500, closing at 330,500, while Ottogi increased by 7,000, reaching 409,500. Mobis also experienced an upward movement, closing at 270,000 after gaining 6,000. On the other hand, KorZinc recorded a significant drop of 55,000, ending at 827,000, and Hanwha Aerospace decreased by 8,000, settling at 756,000.
SamaAlum's shares increased by 400, closing at 29,600, and GC Corp gained 800, reaching 136,200. Samsung SDI CO., LTD. and KPIC also saw rises, closing at 191,900 and 98,800, respectively. LS ELECTRIC ended the day at 209,500, up by 500, while Hanwha Solutions gained 1,000, closing at 21,600.
Conversely, LS and HD Hyundai Heavy Industries experienced declines, with LS dropping by 4,800 to close at 118,000 and HD Hyundai Heavy Industries decreasing by 5,500, closing at 311,000. Other declines were seen in SKC and HDKSOE, with SKC closing at 126,200 after a drop of 3,000, and HDKSOE ending at 219,000, down by 1,500.
