KOSPI 200 Sees Mixed Performance with Notable Gains for Major Companies


Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced a day of mixed performance, with several companies witnessing significant gains. Noteworthy changes included Samsung Biologics, which rose by 14,000 to close at 1,048,000, and Hyosung Heavy, which increased by 31,000 to reach 1,200,000. Other notable gainers included HD Hyundai Electric, which climbed 10,000 to 494,000, and KCC, up by 25,500 to 376,000.



According to Yonhap News Agency, DoubleUGames also experienced an increase, rising by 700 to settle at 55,300. Doosan Bobcat closed at 55,100, up by 2,000, while BGF Retail saw a jump of 4,700 to finish at 116,700. HD Hyundai saw an increase of 1,200, ending the day at 129,500, whereas HD Hyundai Heavy Industries experienced a decline, dropping 13,000 to 463,500.



The tech sector also saw movements with SKCHEM increasing by 1,700 to close at 66,300, and LG Energy Solution climbing 2,500 to 375,500. Meanwhile, SK ie technology dropped by 250, closing at 26,200, and SKSQUARE fell by 100 to 140,200.



Several other companies, such as Hyosung TNC, HS Hyosung Advanced, and HDHMS, recorded gains of 3,000, 2,600, and 3,500, respectively. On the other hand, KRAFTON and F and F saw declines, with KRAFTON dropping by 1,000 to 314,500 and F and F falling by 500 to 66,600.



The financial sector also showed positive trends, with Woori Financial Group increasing by 650 to settle at 24,250 and KakaoBank rising by 150 to 27,150.
