KOSPI 200 Sees Mixed Performance with Significant Declines in Key Stocks

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 experienced a mixed performance today, with several major companies witnessing declines in their stock prices. Notable decreases were recorded in companies such as NCsoft, which fell by 2,500 to close at 185,700, and COSMAX, which also saw a decline of 2,500, closing at 270,500.

According to Yonhap News Agency, other significant drops included KIWOOM, which decreased by 6,000 to 228,500, and LGCHEM, which saw a reduction of 7,000, closing at 209,000. KEPCO E and C reported a decline of 5,300, ending at 105,400. LG H and H also experienced a notable decrease, dropping by 9,500 to 325,000.

However, not all companies faced declines. ShinhanGroup saw an increase of 800, closing at 60,500, while HYUNDAI ROTEM rose by 4,300 to 201,000. LIG Nex1 experienced a substantial rise, increasing by 19,000 to 543,000. POONGSAN also saw an upturn, with a 5,000 increase, closing at 136,400.

A few companies remained stable, such as JB Financial Group and HYUNDAIGLOVIS, which showed no change in their stock prices, closing at 20,600 and 137,300, respectively. Other companies experiencing positive performance included Misto Holdings, which increased by 550 to 35,200, and HANAFINANCIALGR, which rose by 700 to 84,200.

The KOSPI 200's varied performance highlights the dynamic nature of the market, with fluctuating stock prices affecting a range of sectors differently.
