Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced a mixed performance recently, with notable movements in both upward and downward directions. Among the highlights, Samsung Biologics recorded a significant increase in its stock price.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Samsung Biologics saw its stock price rise by 63,000, reaching a value of 1,113,000. On the other hand, DGB Financial Group's stock decreased by 240, closing at 8,950. Emart experienced an upward movement, gaining 300 to finish at 82,600.
DENTIUM saw a decline of 1,600, closing at 76,000, while Hankook Tire and Technology reported a decrease of 1,100, ending at 39,050. In contrast, Kolmar Korea's stock increased by 500, closing at 67,600.
Other notable movements included a 140 decrease for PIAM, closing at 16,820, while HanjinKal's stock increased by 100, finishing at 77,600. Chongkundang experienced a rise of 700, closing at 77,000, whereas DoubleUGames saw a decline of 100, closing at 52,700.
Meanwhile, HL Mando reported a decrease of 450, closing at 37,850. Doosan Bobcat witnessed an increase of 400, bringing its closing price to 48,200. Netmarble and Krafton also experienced gains, with increases of 150 and 6,500, respectively.
HD Hyundai and its subsidiary, HD Hyundai Electric, reported declines, closing at 73,700 and 292,500, respectively. Orion saw a decrease of 800, closing at 117,900, and Iljin Hysolus dropped by 130, closing at 12,760.
Additionally, Hanwha Systems experienced a rise of 400, closing at 33,800, and SamsungE and A increased by 380, closing at 20,150. BGF Retail and Hanwha Vision reported significant gains, closing at 103,500 and 56,200, respectively.
On the downside, SKCHEM saw a decrease of 1,400, closing at 37,150, and Hyosung TNC experienced a decline of 4,500, ending at 212,500. HS Hyosung Advanced recorded a drop of 8,800, closing at 169,900, while SKBS decreased by 100, closing at 38,450.
WooriFinancialGroup saw a slight decline of 120, closing at 16,630, while KakaoBank experienced an increase of 150, closing at 21,850. HYBE recorded a gain of 4,500, closing at 237,000, and SK ie technology decreased by 950, closing at 20,500.
DL E and C and SKSQUARE reported declines, closing at 41,700 and 91,600, respectively. ECOPRO MAT and OCI experienced decreases of 1,200 and 1,400, respectively, while CJ saw a drop of 3,100, closing at 122,900.
Finally, Hanmi Science and IsuSpecialtyChemical reported gains, closing at 25,450 and 41,750, respectively, while Doosan Robotics increased by 700, closing at 47,250.
