Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index witnessed a mixed performance on Tuesday, with notable fluctuations in the closing prices of key stocks on the Korea Stock Exchange. Among the stocks, some showed declines while others registered gains, reflecting a varied market sentiment.
According to Yonhap News Agency, CJ closed at 168,600 KRW, experiencing a decrease of 3,200 KRW. ORION Holdings saw a slight drop, closing at 19,450 KRW, down by 30 KRW. KCC also faced a decline, closing at 373,000 KRW with a decrease of 5,500 KRW. SKBP ended at 101,500 KRW, marking a reduction of 900 KRW. In contrast, HANALL BIOPHARMA rose by 250 KRW, closing at 34,750 KRW.
Kogas saw a decrease of 150 KRW, ending at 38,900 KRW. SamsungF and MIns dropped by 5,000 KRW, closing at 445,000 KRW. GS Retail, however, increased by 70 KRW, closing at 16,220 KRW. OTOKI closed at 391,000 KRW, down by 2,500 KRW, while DN AUTOMOTIVE concluded the day at 23,400 KRW, decreasing by 350 KRW.
HDKSOE experienced a significant decline of 12,000 KRW, closing at 408,000 KRW. Conversely, YoulchonChem increased by 350 KRW, closing at 30,350 KRW. HYOSUNG HEAVY showed a strong performance, rising by 19,000 KRW to close at 1,465,000 KRW. LG Energy Solution also saw a substantial increase, closing at 385,000 KRW with a rise of 25,000 KRW.
HtlShilla and Hanmi Science ended the day with declines, closing at 48,850 KRW and 36,300 KRW respectively. SamsungElecMech faced a notable decrease of 5,300 KRW, closing at 198,200 KRW. Hanssem closed at 44,600 KRW, down by 650 KRW. F and F saw a modest increase, ending the day at 63,500 KRW, up by 100 KRW.
HANWHA SOLUTIONS and YoungoneHoldings both experienced declines, closing at 27,800 KRW and 133,200 KRW respectively. OCI Holdings, however, increased by 2,700 KRW, closing at 88,600 KRW. LS ELECTRIC faced a decrease of 1,500 KRW, closing at 294,500 KRW, while SamsungHvyInd ended the day at 21,200 KRW, down by 1,050 KRW.
HD HYUNDAI MIPO closed at 196,000 KRW, experiencing a decrease of 6,000 KRW. S-Oil increased by 100 KRW, closing at 66,300 KRW. LG Innotek saw a decline of 3,600 KRW, closing at 183,600 KRW. LOTTE CHEMICAL Corp, on the other hand, increased by 1,400 KRW, closing at 67,500 KRW.
HMM and HYUNDAI WIA both saw gains, closing at 20,400 KRW and 48,850 KRW respectively. L and F experienced a significant increase, closing at 82,500 KRW with a rise of 8,400 KRW. KumhoPetrochem and SKC closed with gains and losses, ending at 109,000 KRW and 103,300 KRW respectively.
MIRAE ASSET SEC saw a decrease of 850 KRW, closing at 20,550 KRW. Mobis experienced a strong increase, closing at 299,500 KRW with a rise of 10,500 KRW. HANWHA AEROSPACE faced a substantial decline, closing at 933,000 KRW, down by 60,000 KRW. HDC HOLDINGS increased by 670 KRW, closing at 18,170 KRW.
S-1 closed at 76,400 KRW, down by 2,900 KRW, while DWS increased by 350 KRW, ending the day at 27,750 KRW. KEPCO saw a rise of 2,000 KRW, closing the day at 37,700 KRW.
