Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index witnessed a mix of gains and losses as several prominent companies reported changes in their stock prices. Among the significant gainers were HD Hyundai MIPO, which saw an increase of 11,800, and Mobis, with a rise of 4,500 in their stock prices. On the other hand, notable declines were observed in S-Oil and Hanwha Aerospace, which decreased by 4,000 and 24,000, respectively.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Samsung Heavy Industries experienced a climb of 410, and LG Innotek's stock price increased by 5,700. LOTTE CHEMICAL Corp also showed a positive trend with an increase of 4,200. Meanwhile, HMM and Korea Aerospace faced downturns with decreases of 750 and 3,900, respectively.
Other companies such as Kumho Petrochem, HDC Holdings, and S-1 reported increases of 2,400, 900, and 900 in their stock prices, respectively. Samsung Securities and Hyundai Elevator also demonstrated upward trends with gains of 4,300 and 3,200. In contrast, Hankuk Carbon and PanOcean experienced slight declines.
The report further highlighted that SK saw an increase of 3,400, while Samsung C and T rose by 900. LOTTE WELLFOOD, KT, and LG Uplus also showed positive movements with increases of 2,800, 1,100, and 310, respectively. Meanwhile, Hanwha Aerospace and Korea Aerospace faced significant downturns, marking some of the largest decreases in the report.
