Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index saw a mixture of gains and losses in the latest trading session, with notable performances from HD Hyundai Electric and Samsung Biologics. HD Hyundai Electric's stock price rose significantly by 9,500, reaching 363,500, marking one of the highest increases of the day.
According to Yonhap News Agency, other companies also experienced significant changes. Samsung Biologics saw a decrease of 7,000, bringing its stock price to 998,000. Meanwhile, HanmiPharm experienced an increase of 3,500, closing at 292,000, and emart's stock rose by 3,500 to 86,300. Meritz Financial faced a notable decrease of 2,700, closing at 113,900.
Several other companies recorded smaller changes. GKL, for example, saw an increase of 150, closing at 12,970. On the other hand, KOLON IND experienced a decrease of 300, bringing its stock price to 30,550. Similarly, BNK Financial Group and iM Financial Group experienced declines of 70 and 90, closing at 10,480 and 10,530 respectively.
The report also highlighted that companies like Hanwha Systems and Krafton saw positive movements, with their stock prices increasing by 1,800 and 2,000, closing at 44,900 and 375,000 respectively. Conversely, companies such as Doosan Bobcat and DL E and C faced declines in their stock prices, with decreases of 1,550 and 1,100, closing at 46,400 and 43,550 respectively.
Overall, the trading session reflected a day of mixed performances across various sectors, with some companies experiencing gains while others faced declines.
