KOSPI 200 Sees Mixed Results as Key Stocks Experience Gains and Losses

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index showcased varied movements as several key stocks experienced both gains and losses. DL saw an increase in its closing price, rising by 200 to 46,400. Hanchem also reported a significant uptick, closing at 165,600, which is up by 3,600.

According to Yonhap News Agency, other companies such as DWS and SamsungSecu experienced declines in their stock prices. DWS dropped by 100, closing at 32,050, while SamsungSecu fell by 1,500 to close at 75,700. SKTelecom also saw a decrease of 400, ending at 56,700.

Hyundai Elevator reported a gain of 600, closing at 85,900, while Korea Aerospace surged by 4,800 to reach 94,700. In contrast, Samsung SDS experienced a decrease of 5,200, closing at 174,900. Kumho Tire saw a slight drop, falling by 30 to 4,480.

Coway and SK posted positive results, with Coway rising by 1,800 to close at 97,400 and SK increasing by 1,000 to reach 203,500. POSCO DX also experienced a minor gain, closing at 24,550, up by 50. On the other hand, Samsung C and T and Samsung Life registered significant declines, falling by 4,500 and 3,500, respectively.

Additional declines were observed in stocks such as Kakao, which fell by 6,300 to close at 63,100, and NCsoft, which decreased by 4,600 to end at 188,200. LG H and H also saw a notable decrease, falling by 7,000 to 334,500. Meanwhile, HanmiSemi experienced a substantial gain, rising by 6,200 to close at 103,700.
