Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed a combination of gains and declines across various companies, reflecting a day of mixed trading outcomes. LG Innotek, for instance, saw its stock decrease by 3,200 to close at 171,600. Meanwhile, LOTTE CHEMICAL Corp experienced an upward movement, gaining 3,700 to settle at 71,800.
According to Yonhap News Agency, several companies faced declines, with HMM falling by 450 to reach 20,050, and HYUNDAI WIA dropping by 950 to close at 47,550. Mobis also saw a reduction, with its stock falling by 6,000 to end at 279,500. On the other hand, KumhoPetrochem experienced a positive movement, increasing by 600 to end at 123,900.
HANWHA AEROSPACE and S-1 showed contrasting results, with HANWHA AEROSPACE declining by 4,000 to 663,000, while S-1 managed to gain 400, closing at 64,000. Other companies such as SamsungSecu and SKTelecom also faced reductions, with decreases of 700 and 100, bringing their closing prices to 45,950 and 55,700 respectively.
In addition, HyundaiElev showed an upward trend by gaining 2,300, closing at 56,400. However, SAMSUNG SDS and KOREA AEROSPACE experienced declines, with their shares falling by 500 and 1,500 to close at 121,000 and 77,500, respectively. SAMSUNG LIFE and KT and G were among the gainers, with increases of 1,400 and 1,900, closing at 85,700 and 102,000 respectively.
The report also highlighted that companies like Doosan Enerbility and Doosanfc faced declines, with reductions of 700 and 380, bringing their closing prices to 25,050 and 15,120. Meanwhile, LG Display decreased by 190 to 9,190, and NAVER saw a significant decrease of 6,200, ending at 197,800.
