KOSPI 200 Sees Notable Gains with HDKSOE and Hanwha Aerospace Leading the Surge

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index has exhibited significant upward movement, with a majority of the listed companies showing gains. Key performers included HDKSOE and Hanwha Aerospace, both contributing prominently to the index's positive trend.

According to Yonhap News Agency, HDKSOE recorded a substantial increase, closing at 310,500, up by 21,000. Hanwha Aerospace also demonstrated strong performance, closing at 857,000, a rise of 25,000. Other companies contributing to the upward momentum included SamsungF and MIns, which gained 8,000 to close at 399,500, and HYOSUNG HEAVY, which saw a rise of 28,000, closing at 622,000.

Additional key performers in the session were YoungoneHoldings, which increased by 7,000 to finish at 122,700, and LS ELECTRIC, which rose by 6,500, ending the day at 255,000. Hanwha also showed a notable gain, closing at 74,400, up by 6,900.

Despite the overall positive trend, some companies experienced declines. LG Energy Solution decreased by 1,000 to close at 288,000, while Kogas dropped by 300, ending at 40,200. KEPCO also faced a downturn, closing at 29,550, down by 750.

The KOSPI 200's performance highlights significant gains across various sectors, with a strong showing from the industrial and technology sectors leading the upward trajectory.
