KOSPI 200 Sees Varied Movements as Samsung Biologics and HD Hyundai Rise Amid Declines

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced mixed trading results, with several companies witnessing declines while a few managed to record gains. Notably, Samsung Biologics and HD Hyundai were among the few companies that saw an increase in their stock prices.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Samsung Biologics reported an increase of 26,000, closing at 1,028,000. Similarly, HD Hyundai showed an upward movement, gaining 700 to close at 82,900. Other companies that recorded gains included APR, which rose by 1,200 to reach 113,800, BGF Retail, which increased by 800 to 100,300, and SKCHEM, with a rise of 500 to close at 53,700. SKBS also saw a positive movement, gaining 1,500 to reach 41,600, while ISUSPECIALTYCHEMICAL recorded an increase of 300, closing at 39,450.

In contrast, many companies saw declines in their share prices. Significant losses were observed in HANJINKAL, which fell by 8,000 to 114,700, and KRAFTON, which decreased by 12,000 to 370,500. HYOSUNG TNC experienced a decline of 11,500, closing at 239,000, while HS HYOSUNG ADVANCED dropped by 6,100 to 196,900. SGBC saw a significant decrease, falling by 5,300 to 64,200.

Other notable declines included HYBE, down by 4,500 to 270,000, and SKSQUARE, which fell by 2,800 to 99,800. Hanwha Systems reported a decrease of 2,050 to 45,300, while Netmarble and Doosan Robotics saw declines of 1,800 and 1,850, closing at 51,200 and 48,650, respectively.

Overall, the trading session highlighted the varied performance of companies on the KOSPI 200 index, with gains in select sectors contrasting with widespread declines across others.
