Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index witnessed varied movements in stock prices, with several companies experiencing notable gains and declines. Among the stocks, HanmiPharm closed at 300,500, marking a decrease of 5,500. SD Biosensor also saw a dip, ending at 11,570 with a drop of 500. On the other hand, Meritz Financial improved its position, closing at 110,200, an increase of 700.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the financial sector showed a mix of results with BNK Financial Group and iM Financial Group appreciating slightly, closing at 10,620 and 10,690, respectively. emart also saw an upward movement with a closing price of 87,600, increasing by 100. Meanwhile, DENTIUM remained unchanged at 61,200.
HANKOOK TIRE and TECHNOLOGY experienced an upward trend, closing at 382,000 with a gain of 650. However, KOLMAR KOREA saw a decline, ending at 82,100, down by 1,800. PIAM and ORION also reported losses, closing at 17,690 and 111,200, respectively.
In the technology sector, SAMSUNG BIOLOGICS and KRAFTON both enjoyed an increase, with closing prices of 1,028,000 and 383,000 respectively. HANJINKAL notably rose by 15,500 to close at 150,500. Conversely, HD HYUNDAI ELECTRIC experienced a significant drop, closing at 379,500, down by 13,000.
Other notable movements included HYOSUNG TNC, which decreased by 3,000 to close at 252,000, and HYBE, which saw a decline of 7,500, ending at 279,000. SK ie technology and ECOPRO MAT, however, experienced gains, closing at 21,150 and 45,550, up by 1,190 and 4,500, respectively.
