Seoul: Friday's trading session on the Korea Stock Exchange saw varied performance among KOSPI 200 stocks, with some stocks witnessing gains while others experienced declines. Notable movements included HanmiPharm closing at 311,500 KRW, marking an increase of 5,500 KRW. In contrast, SK hynix saw a decline of 7,500 KRW, closing at 204,500 KRW.
According to Yonhap News Agency, several companies experienced notable gains. SamyangFood increased by 10,000 KRW to close at 1,111,000 KRW, and Taekwang Industrial rose by 55,000 KRW, ending the day at 973,000 KRW. Additionally, SeAH Steel Holdings and POSCO FUTURE M also reported gains, closing at 242,000 KRW and 116,600 KRW, respectively.
On the downside, several stocks faced declines. LG Corp. saw a decrease of 3,400 KRW, ending at 71,000 KRW, while Hyundai Motor fell by 5,700 KRW to close at 185,300 KRW. Other companies such as POSCO Holdings and DB Insurance also experienced downturns, closing at 250,000 KRW and 100,500 KRW, respectively.
The trading session reflected a mixed performance overall, with fluctuations in stock prices indicative of the market's current volatile nature.
