KOSPI 200 Stock Prices See Mixed Movements Amid Declines and Gains

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced varied stock price movements on Friday, with several companies witnessing declines, while others saw gains. Notable stock changes included NHIS closing at 20,550 KRW, a decrease of 450 KRW, and KPIC, which ended at 141,100 KRW, down by 5,600 KRW.

According to Yonhap News Agency, LS saw a significant drop, closing at 182,200 KRW, down 14,300 KRW. HD Hyundai Heavy Industries also experienced a decline, closing at 555,000 KRW, a decrease of 28,000 KRW. In contrast, GS Retail saw an increase, closing at 22,500 KRW, up by 200 KRW, and NAVER rose to 262,500 KRW, gaining 5,500 KRW.

Other notable movements included Samsung SDI Co., Ltd., which closed at 288,500 KRW, down by 13,500 KRW, and SKC, which saw a decrease of 6,900 KRW, ending at 105,900 KRW. LG Uplus finished at 15,600 KRW, a decline of 180 KRW, while Kangwonland closed with a rise of 90 KRW, at 17,720 KRW.

Hanwha Ocean ended the day at 119,800 KRW, down 5,200 KRW, and Samsung Life decreased by 1,100 KRW, closing at 146,400 KRW. Meanwhile, NCsoft saw an increase, closing at 191,300 KRW, up 4,300 KRW, and COSMAX rose to 174,100 KRW, gaining 6,400 KRW.

Kakao experienced a slight decrease, ending at 58,700 KRW, down 400 KRW, while KT and G increased by 3,800 KRW, closing at 145,600 KRW. Doosan Enerbility closed at 73,100 KRW, a drop of 4,600 KRW, and SK witnessed a decline of 14,500 KRW, ending at 249,000 KRW.
