KOSPI 200 Stocks Experience Mixed Movements as Market Closes

Seoul: KOSPI 200 stocks showcased varied movements in their closing prices on Friday at the main Korea Stock Exchange. The data indicates fluctuations across different sectors with some stocks recording gains while others faced declines.

According to Yonhap News Agency, DWEC closed at 3,120 KRW, marking a decrease of 10 KRW. Daewoong Pharm declined by 300 KRW, closing at 130,000 KRW. Posco International also saw a decrease of 150 KRW, ending at 42,700 KRW. In contrast, SamyangFood experienced a significant drop of 8,000 KRW, closing at 762,000 KRW.

Several companies registered gains despite the overall mixed performance. CJ CheilJedang rose by 1,500 KRW, reaching 242,500 KRW. Korea Aerospace increased by 1,200 KRW, closing at 53,800 KRW. KEPCO KPS and LG H and H each saw an uptick of 1,000 KRW, closing at 44,000 KRW and 303,000 KRW respectively.

On the other hand, Samsung SDS fell by 1,200 KRW to end at 124,000 KRW. KIH decreased by 900 KRW, closing at 75,700 KRW. HyundaiDeptSt and GS faced declines of 500 KRW and 800 KRW, closing at 47,500 KRW and 38,500 KRW respectively. LGChem and ShinhanGroup also recorded losses, closing at 243,500 KRW and 49,450 KRW, down by 500 KRW and 850 KRW respectively.

Meanwhile, some stocks experienced notable gains. KEPCO E and C increased by 2,200 KRW to close at 64,500 KRW. SK hynix recorded a substantial rise of 4,500 KRW, closing at 214,500 KRW. CJ climbed by 1,700 KRW to 98,100 KRW. KCC also gained 1,000 KRW, reaching 254,500 KRW.

The varied movements in the closing prices of these stocks reflect the dynamic nature of the stock market, influenced by a range of factors impacting different sectors and companies.
