KOSPI 200 Stocks Experience Mixed Movements on Korea Stock Exchange

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index saw a range of movements in stock prices on the Korea Stock Exchange this Wednesday, with both gains and losses recorded across various sectors. Notable changes were observed in stocks like MiwonComcl, which closed at KRW 171,000, down by KRW 3,800, and KCC, which increased by KRW 2,000 to close at KRW 247,000.

According to Yonhap News Agency, several other stocks also experienced declines, including TCC STEEL, which decreased by KRW 1,000 to reach KRW 30,100, and HyundaiMtr, which fell KRW 1,500 to a closing price of KRW 220,500. In contrast, DB INSURANCE saw a significant rise, closing at KRW 95,000, an increase of KRW 3,300.

LotteChilsung's stock ended the day at KRW 104,700, down by KRW 2,400, while POSCO Holdings saw a drop of KRW 2,500, finishing at KRW 257,000. On the other hand, HD Hyundai Heavy Industries experienced a notable gain, closing up KRW 5,500 at KRW 314,000.

Other significant movements included Shinsegae, which increased by KRW 700 to close at KRW 132,500, and Samsung SDI CO., LTD., which ended the day at KRW 231,500, a decrease of KRW 5,000. LS and KPIC both saw positive changes, with increases of KRW 400 each, closing at KRW 103,300 and KRW 85,700, respectively.

Overall, the trading session reflected a mix of gains and losses across different sectors, indicating varied investor sentiment.
