KOSPI 200 Stocks Experience Mixed Movements with Notable Gains and Losses

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index saw a day of mixed trading results with several stocks experiencing significant price changes. Some companies saw upward trends, while others faced declines in their stock prices.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Hanwha Aerospace recorded the highest increase among the listed companies, with its stock rising by 19,000 to close at 841,000. SamyangFood also saw a substantial gain of 189,000, closing at 1,180,000. S-1 and Doosan Enerbility were among the other companies that experienced increases, with S-1 rising by 2,200 to 67,400 and Doosan Enerbility climbing by 2,350 to 34,300.

On the downside, KumhoPetrochem faced a significant loss of 2,700, bringing its stock price down to 109,100. CJ CheilJedang and Hanchem also experienced declines, with their prices dropping by 2,500 to 229,500 and the same amount to 124,000, respectively. Hyundai WIA saw a decrease of 200, ending the day at 42,250.

Several other companies saw minor fluctuations. KEPCO's stock increased by 1,500 to close at 28,000, while SamsungSecu gained 800, reaching 54,400. In contrast, SK's stock fell by 800, closing at 137,100. The report highlights the varied performance of stocks on the KOSPI 200, reflecting a day of diverse outcomes for investors.
