KOSPI 200 Stocks See Mixed Movements in Closing Prices

Seoul: Thursday saw varied performances in the KOSPI 200 stocks traded on the Korea Stock Exchange. Several companies witnessed significant price increases, while a few experienced declines.

According to Yonhap News Agency, some notable gainers included SamyangFood, which rose by 15,000 KRW to reach 770,000 KRW, and Amorepacific, which increased by 8,800 KRW, closing at 122,900 KRW. OCI also saw a substantial rise, gaining 7,900 KRW to close at 70,800 KRW. KCC and SKSQUARE also reported increases, with KCC up by 6,500 KRW to 253,500 KRW, and SKSQUARE climbing by 3,500 KRW to 94,200 KRW.

Conversely, LIG Nex1 experienced a decline, dropping by 6,000 KRW to 220,500 KRW. HyundaiMtr and HyundaiGlovis also saw decreases, with HyundaiMtr falling by 1,500 KRW to 219,000 KRW, and HyundaiGlovis decreasing by 1,400 KRW to 128,100 KRW. Other stocks such as Korea Aerospace and SeAH Steel Holdings reported negative movements, down by 400 KRW and 1,200 KRW, respectively.

Overall, the market displayed a mix of upward and downward trends across various sectors, reflecting the dynamic nature of stock price movements within the KOSPI 200 index.
